The Sigma Mark-I is a beautiful rarity.
I first fell in love with the Sigma Mark-I in Japan. I was touring Sigma’s factory in Aizu when it caught my eye in the small, humble museum there. This was Sigma’s first-ever camera and only around 2,000 were ever made. Built like a tank, the shutter slaps with such ferocity it sounds like a gunshot. I love it. 85mm is my focal length of choice.
